National Lutheran Schools Week: NEXT WEEK!


  • Sun. 3/03: Sausage Supper 12:00-6:00PM
    • Scholastic Book Fair opens and continues through Friday, Mar. 8.
  • Mon. 3/04: No School-Pulaski Day
  • Tue. 3/05: "Dress Your Best" Day. 
    • "Goodies with GRANDS (Grandparents, Relatives, Aunts & uncles, Neighbors, Devoted caretakers, and Special friends)" 9:00-10:30AM. Each class will provide a bit of entertainment and enjoy a light breakfast with their loved one. Scholastic Book Fair will be open.
    • Family Night: St. Louis Science Center will give two half hour presentations to all preschool-grade 8 families- 6:00PM in the gym. 
      • Presentation #1: "It's a Blast!" A chemistry show that explores a very specific type of exothermic reaction- Fire! Through surprising experiments, discover the basic needs of fire and witness some loud, bright, and colorful demonstrations that are sure to spark excitement!
      • Presentation #2: "Creepy Chemistry!" This series of spooky experiments will definitely get "Oooohs!" and "Ahhhhs!" We'll explore a variety of chemistry experiments including fun with fire, expanding lunch bags, and rapid decomposition. We'll end it all with a bang! 
      • Dairy Queen treats will be served during the short intermission between the two presentations.
      • Scholastic Book Fair will be open from 5:15-5:45PM and for a bit after the presentations.
  • Wed. 3/06: "Wild Wednesday". Students may wear Wild West attire, animal print, crazy, mismatch, etc. Be creative! Most creative wins from each class!
    • Chapel at 9:00AM
  • Thu. 3/07: "Pajama Day". Students may wear pajamas (remember outside shoes, too). Best get-up wins from each class! Students will enjoy a movie in the afternoon.
  • Fri. 3/08: "Fictional Friday". Students may dress like a fictional character (book, movie, comic, etc.). Most creative costume wins from each class!
  • Sun. 3/10: School students sing in 10:30AM service. I hope you will all make a point to be there. The congregation is very supportive of our school and they love to see our school students sing!
